Justin's 96 del Sol VTEC is not one of the first cars up-and-coming Honda enthusiasts look to when considering a build. It should be though. The del Sol was the first Honda to feature the legendary B16a engine in the U.S. The EG2 chassis has one of the most sought-after, close-ratio, B-series gearboxes, featuring a 4:400:1 final drive, four-wheel disc brakes, and, of course, its open top body was released long before the S2000. Justin's EG2 isn't heavily modified- he's kept it that way in an effort to remain, "...classy, functional, and crispy." In fact, the B16a is completely stock save for a custom-painted valve cover. Why you ask? Well Justin says it has to remain "...quiet, clean, and reliable for the daily grind" Fair enough. Work Emotion CR Kai rims help Justin's del Sol achieve that perfect state of crispiness along with Vision Motorsports blue lug nuts and ride height that's brought down to an acceptable level with Ground Control coilovers. Justin fitted the interior with S2000 leather seats, a custom headliner, and a 330mm Nardi steering wheel held on with an NRG quick release adapter. A Razo shift knob, Broadway mirror, and audio goods from Alpine and Sony round off what we're quite sure Justin considers nothing short of crispy.
