Default Sickest 4 eyed Fox Body I've ever seen

This has been around for a while, but I did a search and didn't see it, so here it is.

    88 Mustang Capri Coupe

649 rwhp and 700 lb-ft of torque on pump gas.

Quote Originally Posted by Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords

"I just picked up a set of 315/30/18 Mickey Thompson drag radials that should easily get it into the 10.50s," Jason says. "The thing is, I built this car to run in the 9s. If I put in race gas and turn up the boost, the car should make 900 hp, which is more than enough to get it there. I think it's going to take me switching out the Tremec for an AOD automatic to do it, though. This way it eliminates my driving and makes accomplishing that task easier."

I used to buy/read MM&FF religiously when I had money and time to spare.

    Bump for a nice fox.

    Mine's the red one.

I'm biased to the IMSA ones (which really don't count) so this is probably the best street pre 87 Fox body.

with that kind of power on tap, he needs even more traction than that 305 can provide him. I can't imagine a thinner wheel/tire.

That car was painted at my job by the owner, I don't remember why but he ended up doing it once and then brought it back a few months later and did it again. Hands down the nicest fox body I've ever seen in person, everything on that car is perfect.

lol, BBK RK Sports. I've seen the camry wheels. Not sure if they are BBKs but they do look similar. They can't handle a 305 tire though.

Jason put a lot of work into that car. I remember seein it in different stages of completion at Pro speed in p-town. I have been around alot of mustangs in the past few years and it is probably one of the nicest cleanest cars on the road.

Turbo mustangs (i'm sure it is for all cars) are such a pain in the ass, they will run you ragged with problems and just make you want to sell it. I have never owned one but my friends and every owner I have talked to that daily drives them ends up hating them.

Yes. The camry also uses BBS RK wheels, just not low-offset like the Mustang runs.

I had a set of them, same size as the fox. 18x8.5/18x10

There's a black capri with a mustang front that looks pretty good and is apparently making pretty good numbers. Technically the opposite of this car but it looked alright as he walked it down the road sideways on an access road next to 285.

    The Capri Cosworth is HOT!

Yes they're BBS RK's. The same wheel that's on the corolla/camry and optional on the Saab 9-5 Aero's. Neither of them are this size or offset though.

There is a guy around the Smyrna area that has a Capri/Mustang with an '03 cobra motor, I bet thats the one you saw. Not near as nice as the car in the OP but it's fast.

Oh I thought the "four-eyed" ones were all Mercury Capris.

Pretty nice for a Fox body. I'm usually not a fan of those at all. That car's a monster.

Front end looks very European to me.

nah the 4 eyed capris had flared fender which gave them a different look from the 4eyed stangs with look very similar to the 1/3 peice headlight foxbody's either way a stang with mercury appeal FTMFW

Haha yea I just looked up pictures of the Mercury and it's MUCH more blocky. Looks even more European. Pretty awesome...and those RKs are one of my favorite sets of wheels.

This stang has Capri fenders and quarter panels grafted onto the Mustang panels.

After looking at this car a few times, the front reminds me of a Grand National
