At first, I was thinking "cool, but thesethreads are too common" then I saw a REPU, the Mecredes rotary thingy and all the other stuff and I'm really proud of you for gathering some of the rarest rotary cars ever made. I've known about every car you posted, but it took me a long time of owning an Rx-7 to find all of that info that you posted in one page.

To everyone who is confused by any of the non-Rx-7 rotaries. It's so much more rewarding knowing the back story of some of these cars. Like the gullwing GM concept. That was to be a 4-rotor corvette, and the CEO of GM said itwas the best Corvette he has ever driven, but rising gas prices killed it.

^^ Yeah, I drew a frame of a man running on each fan blade. That is him running at idle

I like the thread but i have to correct.

The Mercedes Benz C111 III was a diesel.

Like Simon, i doubt the Kart with MB badge would use anything but a 125cc two stroke.

The first major rotary street car came from Felix Wankel's design was the NSU R080.

Before Mazda's prototype project really got underway with Mazdaspeed, Mooncraft helped build the 717C, 727C, and 737C series of cars.

I see you posted the NRV588, but this is the original Norton rotary. Was a British champion.

Did not see the Furai yet (Courage chassis under the body work)

One of the most famous rotary bikes is the Suzuki RE5
