As much as i adore the 911 in general and the idea of this one, i cant wrap my head around why A. Porsche is charging $240,000 for it and B. Why only 250?

Wouldn't it make better sense to take a 911 GT3 RS approach to this? Btw...the 911 GT3 RS Gen II is $132,800.

I don't see why this special costs so much more. I realize some body and engine mods have been made but i feel this car should be in the $150,000 neighborhood at the maximum.

Still though.....Modern Fuchs and Duck tails are such a good idea.

Reading owns me...didn't take the time to read the article. $240,000 is an outrageous price for a car like this. I wish they'd at least offer the cosmetic treatments as a "Sport Classic Appearance Package." That would probably not include the engine treatment though, which is perfect for me...a naturally aspirated engine with 400+ horsepower.

I like everything about this Porsche, but they've really made it inaccessible. Don't know why they can't make more. EJ has the right idea...take the GT3 RS approach.

I'm pretty sure Seinfeld would've been on the waiting list though had they sold it here. I know he's a huge Porsche nut.
