Default fisker karma , Yay or Nay?

The 2010 Fisker Karma is powered by a 201-hp electric motor that is powered by a lithium-ion battery pack provided by Q-DRIVE. That allows the Karma to travel 50 miles without the use of any gasoline. After battery power runs out, the Karma uses a 260-hp turbocharged 2.0L Ecotec direct-injection engine that provides additional mileage. Fisker says that the Karma has a total range of up to 300 miles is estimated in Sport Mode. The 2010 Karma can sprint from 0 to 60 in 5.8 seconds with a top speed of 125 mph.

I read the same, but electric cars are inherently torque heavy. I would drive one. Unfortunately, for the price it's pretty far down my list.

Will work for food, car parts, or three stripe apparel. And not necessarily in that oder.

hmm, seems like it would be more fun after the batteries die. Of course 900 lbs of torque would be alot of fun too.

Yes it is. Its a plug in Hybrid. The main difference though is the gas engine only makes electricity, unlike the normal hybrids which actually use the engine for propulsion. The solar panels just help to recover some power. In sport mode the gas engine is nearly always running to supply the extra electricity needed for full power.

Actually the Tesla handles pretty well and from the reviews so does this. Its not overly heavy for what it is.

Yes please...this is my favorite in the wave of upcoming green cars.

I'll miss engine notes in these new electric/hybrid/whatever cars though.

Is this still in show-car stages or is that the production-ready model? The interior still looks a bit..."unfinished."
