    Wow, I like it alot!

    The carbon hood doesnt look too awful... maybe you could get it painted and still save the weight?

    i have a stock hood already that is white. ep3 hoods are so small there isnt much of a weight difference

    I wouldn't be surprised if the stock hood was lighter than the cf hood.

    But regardless of weight savings you should keep the cf hood. without it it'd look like every other egg out there minus blue wheels

    There is a weight difference - the carbon fiber hood is lighter. I had to use two hands to carry my stock hood and one for the carbon fiber. CF is also stronger making it pretty awesome if a tree ever falls on your car at a friend's house (happened to me qq). It slightly cracked the clear coat on the CF hood. It dented the driver side fender in big time which would have happened to the hood as well had I kept the stock hood on.
