Stock??? It is similar to the 8-9 turbo but aparently much better at holding boost. Some sort of 16g derivative.
We most certainly did not run 29 psi on pump, and stock internals. A long long time ago we made 438whp on our Evo 8 with a stock turbo. Think that number still stands as best stock turbo hp.

My Evo 9 made ~260whp stock and with a header back exhaust (cat deleted), cone filter, MBC and tune it made 350awhp/350tq. But that was running ~23psi of boost and I had a wideband + datalogging going all of the time because it was close to the edge and would get knock sometimes.
Meanwhile this Evo X makes 10 more ft-lb of torque, has a better overall curve, and similar mods. So yeah the X definitely looks to be a big improvement.
