Not at all. But cops here are pretty chill (no problems in surrounding areas either, though).

I actually saw a group of sheriffs at taco bell one night and talked to them about it. They pretty much said the hood doesn't matter, on or off, stock or aftermarket, as long as it's not obstructing your view.
