Default Detailed the Mach last night/morning!

Had been 2 months. So figured it was time for a serious detail. Full paint correction of the hood, fenders, a-pillars, quarters, and trunk. 12 hour seal, and 2 coats of wax! Engine bay got a full detail and dressing, along with the interior!

Nothing like spending hours making a car look good, then taking shitty pictures to show it off.

Did you check your vertical surfaces with light to know this?

What was your process with polishes?

Seeing as how I own a detailing business yes. Hit the whole car after each stage with a 500w shop light. Thats why I know theres still swirl marks in the front bumper, doors and rear bumper sense I did not touch any of those areas.

Also what do you mean by process? I cut the whole car with M105/PFW jeweled it and removed buffer tracks with M205/LC-Orange then sealant on the car for 45 minutes, let cure for 12 hours, then 2 coats of Nattys Red!

Did you check with fluorescent light also? Not doubting you, just wondering.

I love M105 and 205. Great great stuff. Does Red smell as good as Blue? I had a tub of Blue and would wax everything with that stuff regardless of color just to smell it!

function over form. next drop, when it launches it would scrub! that and its sitting on a bad angled driveway. if you look at the shot in my sig its alot less of a gap!

yeah i feel ya. i thought it looked better in the sig lol. and i mean i understand the function > form thing, but i'd find a way to not scrub if i had 3 inches of wheel gap on a sports car lol.

Yeah I will get a picture of it sitting on a lvl surface. Then its only about a 2 inch gap. The next drop i can do will drop it another inch but then it scrubs like crazy on bumps and shit!

ive just known it by s100, you can get it from the harley dealer and its made by the same company as p21s. Very similar to it, half the price, and lasts a fairly decent amount of time. Looks pretty good too.

As far as collinite, I only use it if i know the person isnt going to wax in a while, otherwise, its not my go to stuff (tough as nails though).

Collinite is a major marine detailing company. One of the main reasons I dont like there automotive line. Clear coat and Gel coat are two different worlds!

P21S is a company. Also S100 is a company as well! Mainly dealing in motorcycle products!

p21s is their "automotive" line and s100 is the motorcycle line. BTW; forgot to mention its their paste wax. There has been alot of talk on how different the p21s paste wax is from the s100. General thought is there is a slight difference, but one is cheaper than another, but provides a very similar deep lasting look. Though they are slightly different, they are the same company, but different lines.

I will have to look into it. I have not seen many talk about it. Right now like me and OTG where talking about, my sights are on Fuzion and Natty's Blue!

Ive wanted to try Fuzion, but cant see to spend that much yet on a wax. Maybe the $100 for Pinnacle Sovereign paste, but $200 not yet.

As far as natty's, ive tried the blue before, 2 coats on my legend, and it washed off in about 2 weeks. This is with an alcohol wipe before application.
