Default Detailed the Mach last night/morning!

Had been 2 months. So figured it was time for a serious detail. Full paint correction of the hood, fenders, a-pillars, quarters, and trunk. 12 hour seal, and 2 coats of wax! Engine bay got a full detail and dressing, along with the interior!

Nothing like spending hours making a car look good, then taking shitty pictures to show it off.

function over form. next drop, when it launches it would scrub! that and its sitting on a bad angled driveway. if you look at the shot in my sig its alot less of a gap!

yeah i feel ya. i thought it looked better in the sig lol. and i mean i understand the function > form thing, but i'd find a way to not scrub if i had 3 inches of wheel gap on a sports car lol.

Yeah I will get a picture of it sitting on a lvl surface. Then its only about a 2 inch gap. The next drop i can do will drop it another inch but then it scrubs like crazy on bumps and shit!

Seeing as how I own a detailing business yes. Hit the whole car after each stage with a 500w shop light. Thats why I know theres still swirl marks in the front bumper, doors and rear bumper sense I did not touch any of those areas.

Also what do you mean by process? I cut the whole car with M105/PFW jeweled it and removed buffer tracks with M205/LC-Orange then sealant on the car for 45 minutes, let cure for 12 hours, then 2 coats of Nattys Red!

Did you check with fluorescent light also? Not doubting you, just wondering.

I love M105 and 205. Great great stuff. Does Red smell as good as Blue? I had a tub of Blue and would wax everything with that stuff regardless of color just to smell it!

Yep not one swirl, zero RIDS, and no holograms! And yes the Red smells better than blue. Love using it, just sad that the tube I have is no longer produced. You can only get the small tube now!

Sounds like I need to get some Red along with my order of Supernatural.. if not just for the smell then to wax friends cars.

Are you on Autopia as well?

Nope did not like that site. I prefer Autogeek. But you likw Supernatural? I have a sample of it, wasnt cheap and I did not like it. Not a fan of hard bead waxes. Plus I have tested it against the Nattys line and was not impressed. For just that slight bit better liguid depth but less slick feeling look was not enough to make me pay $160-180 for it!

By chance have you tried Fuzion Wax? Been hearing alot about it lately and am planning on getting some on order to test out!

I wish I could find it for $160... it's $200 on autogeek (my usual go-to place). I have a sample of it too and am contemplating buying some. The liquid Souveran I got last time was a let down and it was only $60! I still have 2/3 a bottle of the stuff.

I have not tried Fuzion wax yet. For some reason, I just can't like Pinnacle or Wolfgang any more. The whole making multiple brands of the same thing bugs me.

Off topic, but ONR works REALLY well as a vinyl-applying lubricant. There really isn't much that ONR can't do.

Also works great for diluting for a clay lubricant. Speaking of which I am about in need of ordering another bottle, down to a half a one.

Yeah I have supernatural and am just not happy with it. Will stick to my Nattys White and Red. Ordering some more Blue next time. On top of some WG Fuzion to try it out.

I like how that Fuzion gives a free refill. That's very cool of them.

Well, it's a lot more expensive than the Nattys and less than half that of SN (due to the free refill), so, instinct says stick with Nattys. Blue always did bead for many months. One of the few i've tried that did.

Well blue is the dark paint wax, red being the light, and white being the general wax!

Oh trust me I dont doubt that it can work on any color, but to see the most benefit out of it for the darker cars.
