ill try to filter in updates as they come along...

i don't have any info on the boost levels for any pulls....i just know they are adding boost as they go....hopefully the clutch will hold, the guys may have to stop by Competition on the way home and pick up a new unit so we can get it installed and some shakedown passes done tomorrow

    1st pull = 150hp
    2nd pull = 320hp
    3rd pull = 480hp
4th pull = tune in later!

last pull....having some issues with the digital six that will be fixed asap and the cams were setup incorrectly by whoever assembled the motor

    536hp/353tq @ 22psi

car is on its way back to the shop, the minor issues will be fixed before tomorrow night and nick will be making some shakedown passes on this tune friday and should be competing saturday at the dohc event we're putting on

cams will be degreed in next week, and if all goes well will be making the trip back to balanced to finish the full tune, the goal is 850 on the horsepower side, and Ed believes that and more is reachable with ease

How close do you think it'll be the Oaks racing / PFISpeed Lude?

Should do good. At this level we can get all the small stuff dialed in so the car and the driver are ready for the big time!

I wish I coulda been there to see Nick's smile. I'd say he might teary-eyed at the track on Friday, but I know that they don't allow sissies in the Army!

Glad to see it reach this point.

Finally made it to the track, we wanted to see what we needed to change, what the car liked etc..
First shakedown, I lined up without a burnout and alot of air in the tires, I pulled a 1.6 60 ft With only 2psi set to build on antilag.
Next run nocked off my alternator belt and lost power. We put it back on and went again. I launched a bent a radius rod which caused me to cut a slick, night over... JJSPEC had nothing to do with the fabracation of the radius rod, someone else did it a long time ago as a favor for me.. JJSPEC is replacing the rods now with cromoly, i'm sure that will fix it... I do need to thank Jimmy Jones for all the help at the shop, he took off work to go with me to the dyno, and for all the great track support..

Great looking Prelude from this area. All I can say though is, its about damn time to see it since people have been talking about it forever here in Macon and Warner Robins.

Negative ghost rider. It wasn't when he was doing his burnout, IIRC. I remember seeing sparks up under the car once he shifted into second on his last run.

im not sure if it did it then or not, i wanted to think the wheel was to the left just before the run. It might had bent even more when we it sparked, i think it hit my pulley and caused the spark
It does kinda look like its making a mark on the tire during the burnout

Thanks for the pics, next time we go, i should have all my shit together. I really need some seat time, my driving skills are nothing like they were, ill get it..

haha, thanks man. Yeah that radius rod was FTL, that's why we went to the track though. I think we have everything covered now, should be better next time out.
