This is still one of the dumbest trends I have ever seen. I'm all for fitting as much tire as you can to help the performance of car or running a few degrees of camber to help the cornering abilities of a car. This... this just... NO.

Let's see how many school and neighborhood speed bumps that'll clear or how it will drive loaded down with kids and luggage on vacation then. Shit like this is a waste of an automobile, not matter the original purpose. PERIOD.

Maybe I'm showing my age, but I think the extreme tire stretching, -5 degrees rear camber, rubber band tire look (as displayed in this topic) looks COMPLETELY RETARDED.

    There I said it.

While I'm talking about the latest fads can someone please explain to me why all of the sudden it's really cool to have a completely different color engine bay and front cross member/core support than the rest of the car? I mean I'm talking beautiful, flawless paint jobs that would look completely perfect, and then a completely off the wall, different color for the engine bay.

    ???

Someone did it to be different....then everyone else followed. Very hard to be different with a Honda now.

I chose my words wrongly there. The "fad" I'm referring to is Hondas popping up daily with amazingly perfect paintjobs, and then a completely off the wall, non matching (but equally beautifully sprayed) engine bay.

I'm 30, and I'm aware that people have been dumping cars, stretching tires, etc. I know people have had mismatched engine bays since the rat rod days, but I'm just saying it's been taken to another level with Hondas lately.

Like I said I'm showing my age.
