LuLz...@ you. God forbid someone uses a bbk so they can stand on the brakes all day long and not have any issue with brake fade.Originally Posted by Civicn33b
Props for someone actually using their high dollar parts rather than just being a hard-parking poseur.

It's funny how the NSX-R only has 280hp yet ran a sub 8 second Nurburgring time. Who needs upgraded brakes for that?!Originally Posted by Doppelgänger
I've driven low 12 second cars (on street tires) with 280hp...that would do 140 in 4th gear and pull all the way to 160. Try to slow down or stop at those speeds with stock brakes lol! I hope they didn't pull off a Brembo caliper for the stocktechs though, I'm sure it had the base brakes on it but I wouldn't put it past anyone that has HRE's.![]()
ya cause god knows you need upgraded brakes on that beast to stop all that tremendous power behind that 3400+ lb 280 crank hp car, i think the stockers would have sufficed... waste of money IMOOriginally Posted by Doppelgänger
$4,000+ shit wheels and what $1500+ on some brakes on an NA 350z??!!? just sounds asinine to me... money would have been better spent on some decent rotors, pads, SS lines and forgelines and he still would have put 2k in the bank.
...and surely you arent referring to me as a hard-parking poseur LOL, ill be your huckle-berry![]()
lolol! What does the power have to do with it? More power only means the car is able to get to a certain speed faster. Braking from 140mph with 280hp is no different than braking from 140mph with 500whp in the same car, it just means the car is capable of reaching 140mph more often.Originally Posted by Civicn33b
Bigger brakes don't make a car stop "better" anyways, it makes them more predictable and more reliable and more efficient.
You're a dumbass. Have you ever tracked your car before? By tracked, I don't mean going straight then braking for a few seconds at the end.Originally Posted by Civicn33b
