Reminds me of the Pitroad M GTO.

Nice car though, you don't see many VR4's, and even less modified.

And to those who think they aren't capable, well thats a joke. They are in the 8's now.. The stock longblock can hold over 500HP, and they can make 350ish completely stock.

The reason that they aren't farther along is because of the lack of following they have. There are only 3-4 shops who REALLY tune them, and they make great power and have great results. I think the highest current HP is 9XX. That was through an auto though, so crank HP was way over 1000. I could be wrong though, its been a while since I ventured out of the 240 world.. Haha.

    Leobond001, I'll PM you.

    Oh, and here ya go.

Just FYI, the term DSM only applies to the 90-99 Mitsubishi Eclipse, Eagle Talon, and Plymouth Laser. Not to a 3000GT.

Yea yea. The Normal Illinois crap. I know all about it. Let me clarify. To me, DSM means junk Mitsubishi.

I like to get involved in these discussions only because I used to have an Evo and to piss folks off, I would call it a DSM (clearly it works) I don't care where they are made, they are all DSM to me. They have the 3 star dealy-o, it's a DSM.

Haha, I'm not pissed off, I just wasn't sure if you knew about it or not. I saw your old Evo around plenty of times before it was sold. With its Hello Kitty stickers on it and whatnot.

Not true. DSM was an actual plant. the old avengers were DSM's. They said it under the hood. also, pre-95 3000gt/stealths are DSM's. Starions and Conquest are as well. The list goes on...

There ya go! Diamond Star Motors was 1985-1994...which would include the first 4 years of the 3000GT and the Dodge Stealth was made until the split while the 3000GT production continued.

If you are going to correct someone atleast use correct information. The Gallant VR4 was also a DSM.

It's nice...I used to want one until riding in my friends VR-4 and the bitch literally, randomly caught fire while we were driving on the highway. The windshield started turning black at the bottom and we were like wtf, then the smell started coming through, then we pulled over, and whooosh!!! Straight into flames. I couldn't help but @ him cuz I told him not to buy it.

Damn you Tracy, I owned a Starion, and it was the best car ever, perfect in every way, jk.
I like how somebody actually made a 3000GT heavier, there's a reason why it couldn't compete against a 300ZX or Supra, between the 3 tons(slight exaggeration) on the wheels and the catching fire from time to time.
Some say that his politics are terrifying, and that he once punched a horse to the ground...

Negative. i hate when ppl say because they were so heavy. what 150 pounds from the r34 and supra. same 1/4 mile as a stock supra and about the same for the 300zx. same mechanical problems and maintanace.

    take a look

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9_8A6_X3gk

the 3kgt is a bad ass car and can surpass the supra, 300zx and rx-7 with ease
wealth is of the mind and not the pockett
