Thread: Supermoto 1/4mile Action

    Default Supermoto 1/4mile Action

Had a buddy take his Mustang to AtlantaDragway and wanted me to come down and watch. Well I don't like watching, and I just sold my project car, but figured I'd run the supermoto a time or two. We got there a little late, and expected to only get a few runs in. Well turns out there were very few cars there, and only 3 or 4 bikes. So needless to say I put in over 10 runs in before 1 1/2 hr. All the staff loved the bike and were glad to see me bring it out. I had a little problem keeping the front wheel on the ground, and they didnt care for that to much though, lol. Bike is an '04 KTM 625 SMC, slipon, airfilter, jetting, 16-43 gearing, avons. Best of a 13.08 @ 96mph. Not bad for a 50hp dirtbike w/ a 200lbs monkey riding it.

    Awesome bike.

My friend took his 09 Suzuki dr650 out to Atlanta the weekend before the 4th of July and he had a blast. I trailered it up there with my CRX and then dragged the Rex. He was having issues with the front tire coming up also. I thin his best time was 15 flat at 80mph. bone stock bike with a street tire on the rear and a 200+LB rider.

A not so good 14.8 at 95MPH. Full interior, + sound system, + 3/4 tank of gas and crappy khumo tires spinning 1st and 2nd.

I love my 09 dr-z 400. I put 216 miles on it this weekend. There so much fun to ride. The seat suck for long rides but its worth it.

Awesome! I've always wondered what my yz250 could run. Problem Is I would be out of gear after 1/8 mile and be topped out.

    Nice!

    Is it the SM?

I'd like to upgrade to a 400sm, I just can't justify spending the extra coin on trading it in.

And I've test drove one, that seat is a bit hellacious compared to the 350.

    Here's how mine sits.
