    very nice

    And as far as weight differences goes.. It's hard to find a REAL carbon hood, unless you have money. Most are just fiberglass with a shit ton of resin and a CF wrap on top. So weight between a 500 carbon hood vs. stock... is not a big enough difference to matter...

    Yes, I know some CF hoods out there do weigh less.. NOT ALL , though

    If I ever got anything CF I would paint it to match. Just don't care for that CF look.

    haha thanks! mine was a vis so it was just fiberglass wrapped in carbon. it looked okay but i just didnt want carbon anymore. i like the cleany look now

    All carbon fiber hoods are a weight loss compared to steel hoods. I got my first carbon fiber covered fiberglass hood about 5 years. It's FAR lighter than a stock Honda hood and it's thicker and stronger than most other versions on the market and I've never used hood pins with it.

    There's not a much weight difference if you have a stock aluminum hood though, might as well just stay stock unless you plan on spending the $1,000+ for a dry carbon version.
