being under a car held up by a floor jack and backed up by a wheel and jackstand?Originally Posted by Daniel
naww, i've been using that same floor jack since i was about 5 (still have the original manual for it too) and the 3 ton jack stand was snug up to the frame [and has a large safety pin]....if for some reason the floor jack did drop then the car would only go down until the tire touched and the suspension bottomed out on the one side...and the large feet on the jack stand keeps it from turning over.Originally Posted by Daniel
We're saving up for a mid-level lift, only goes up about 39" but will be alot more convenient. Gonna cut the concrete and repour it to make it fit flush with the top of the floor...throw a mat over it and never know it's there.
Too bad we didn't get pictures of first car that was in your shop, (other than yours or room mate's) Mine! Damn, it made the shop look good. lol. Gimmie a call when you can, Jason.
