95 Single Cam Acura Integra

These are some photos that Josh (Evil Goat) took of my build. Thanks a million for his photo and paint help and thanks to Justin(QWK D16) and Josh for their awesome help with the build. Enjoy the pics!
Just a picture timeline of the Single Cam Integra Build. Josh has a crapload of pics of this car from day one, this is just a synopsis of the build, im sure ill throw together a full build thread when i get the time.
Day 1:

a couple days later...wire tuck done, motor mock up, etc.

d16 - stock sleeves with a set of pistons/rods

Paint being layed down...

and the final product...featuring an all aluminum dp back exhaust
on a rich tune and race gas the car went 12.85@108mph

Actually the team from Autoworks in Montgomery Al won. I was still dialing in the car. Went from a high 16 (shakedown pass) to a 12.85(after the finals) that day and still have a lot more in it. I went 13.08 in the final round with an .020 r/t. Hope to get some more t&t time soon. Last Saturday was the first time the car had been to the track. I was literally soldering in the boost control stuff in the ecu for the S300 boost control the night before.

I am not a fan of the 2 tone either, but it seemed to work in the overall scheme of the car, plus it gave me a chance to experiment with the paint job. I have never done a two tone and I have never shot a base/clear coat on a complete car so I got some experience on my own car without having to try something new on someone elses car.

I love this car. I pulled the motor out of this turd and we thought... what the hell !!! Lets single cam this joker! It kinda started as a joke, then we went full at it, and it turned out pretty well. I think this car could go very low 12's possibly high 11's.

Great job with the build!

At first I asked myself "why are they putting a SOHC engine in a Teg? Why not a turbocharged DOHC B18B? WHY!"

But I like what you guys did with the engine you had. Very nice! Looks like the time slip doesn't lie.

nice build ALOT of people on hondatech are building d series tegs. D series are torque monsters on boost. Go autoworks is the shit! That hatch of theres has a bone stock d15b never opened up making 300+. I wished my coupe was still boosted and running when this event took place i would have OWNED it!

Yea, we love some D-series, out of our 5 employees 4 have D series. I have to say that the Integra and Civic are pretty close
