I hate the safety factor and drivability of the monstrosities. Why would you put 26" 100+ pound rims on a car that still keeps the factory drum brakes? They can't stop! Why not just put a bigger brake setup on them while you're at it? It would make it look even better in my opinion! I would think about the idea of modifying the steering rack in such a fashion as to make the car's turning radius less than that of a football field. I can't understand why these guys take these cars and make them look great, but completely unsafe to drive on the street? What gears are you guys running in the rear diffs on those anyway? Just out of curiosity I was wondering if the FD ratio is altered so dramatically by the size of the wheels that it is neccesary to change them to a higher geared rear-end. I have seen one of these run at the track that was setup properly, it went low 12's on 24" wheels, and then on slicks it was well into the 10's. It was what made them so impressive to me, the fact that they CAN be made to do whatever the owner wants, but it seems crazy to me that some of the guys overlook safety to blatantly.
