Few pics of a friend's CTS-V I took while getting our cars ready for Deals Gap on the 28th.

While I agree with you that it is a phenomenal car, it ist still relatively stock.Originally Posted by Trini4U
Also these things have some major problems that are pretty well documented.

Bashing stops. Warning to anyone in the thread that has posted, will post, or is thinking about posting.
OP, nice car.
I wonder how difficult nice six-lug wheels are to find...
Nice, like that CTS-V, I LOVE the new one.
If its stock, it is not a M5 killer.
Vossen CV3 20x9 & 20x10.5
I am the owner, it can be an M5 killer in the right scenario... All the problems are well documented, but what car with 400hp stock doesn't have its issues??? That's why GM offers 100k warranty bumper to bumper... All around its the best car you can buy for your money... 6 lug wheels are damn expensive and extremely hard to find. See you next week
very very nice car i want one so bad
Not sure I agree with this, but yes they are very nice.Originally Posted by ATOWNDRVER

i love it
weak civic
Yea was gonna say. There are quite few other comparable cars that don't have such a significant problem as a rear end made of glass and because of the wheel hop that these things have have to be replaced almost as much as you change the oil depending on how you drive it.Originally Posted by swollix
Would I rock one if somebody gave me the keys? Fuck yea. If It was my money? Nope E39 M5>CTS-V. But thats just my opinion

i work for cadillac and they are very fast cars, but the 09 cts-v is on a totally different level!
theyre badass!!!
Eh I don't think I would take the E39 M5 over one, just because it is a lot easier to make more power in the LS6 powered CTS-V than the high-strung S62 engine in the M5, not to mention the $$$ per horsepower factor.Originally Posted by redGT
Nice car man, must be nice!
Thanks alot, appreciate it... Like I said best car for the money...
That is a sexi car.. is that a manual trans?? this is one car i dunno about but imma have to do some diggin to find! enjoy it.. its a sexi ride!
Very tue. I guess at the end of the day it just depends on what you want out of em. I tend to think the CTS is kinda cheap feeling on the inside compared to the BMW but thats just me.Originally Posted by swollix

Very nice. Cadillac finally stepped up their game, especially with the '09. I'd rock one. 4 door luxury 'Vette FTW!!!
Oh yeah, my friend has one, and in my Z06 the interior feel is cheap. My 95 BMW interior looked much better and is the same quality if not better...Originally Posted by redGT

The 5 series I had was a big disappointment, although it wasn't an M5 I felt that United BMW, and Global treated their customers like shit. Never got a clean car when mine went into service. It always took forever to get it serviced, and honestly I had some major issues for buying a brand new BMW. Think my best experience so far on high end cars is with Lexus.
What year did you have? I have never had to deal with the dealership for my M3 other than getting a few parts occasionally. Typically you will get better service if you knew an employee.Originally Posted by ATOWNDRVER
