Reps to you sir. Astons are my favorite cars. The currant V8 Vantage now with the 4.7L will go 115-118 in the 1/4 mile and lap the ring in less than 8 minutes complete with all that class and sex appeal
good color. you always see them in that gunmetal color.
mmmmmm I've had one rev its engine next to me before lol, they sound sick!
"Power beauty soul" is a little cheesy to me, but the car is soopa beautiful anyway.

Oh, yes. This isn't your car, is it JITB? And, OnURleft, I think a DB9 is among the top three most pretty cars made today along with the Alfa Romeo 8C, and the Maserati Granturismo. That is such a gorgeous car...
Do you think anybody on IA has enough money to have a car like that?Originally Posted by Meatball546

I have the guy who took these pics as a contact on Flickr. He does some awesome photography.
Good looking car.
If it was a true manual then he can't drive, if it was the paddle shifted version is an automatic. I was instructing in a V8 Vantage and Supercar Sensations last weekend and I was impressed with it. I could turn fairly close times between it and the Gallardo. I was still faster in the E92 M3 though. The Aston was one of the best sounding cars for stock, it was between that and the C63 AMG for best stock exhaust note. On that course I was turning faster times in the Aston than many were in the GTR. The paddle shifting did have a delay, even worse than the Lambo's, but when it did shift if shifted HARD and with the traction control off would spin a fair bit going into second. It was a boat but it was very nimble and balanced, tail would slide in a smooth elegant fashion, I guess their slogan does have some meaning.Originally Posted by Ed

Wow.... I want a garage like that. The floor almost looks like carpet.
Yup, I got to pimp around a '06 V12 Vanquish for a little. I was not at all impressed with their version of the F1 transmission. Every time it shifted it felt like i was being kicked in the ass, even at slow speeds. There was no flooring it from a stop unless you enjoy the smell of melted clutch.Originally Posted by Ed
The car was beautiful though, sounded amazing and made me feel all tingly in my pants while I driving it though. I guess my point is that, it makes a great Boulevard cruiser, but it has no place on anyones track.
I have not had an opportunity to drive the Vantage though, but the reviews on it are much nicer than the Vanquish. I'm trying to convince my friend purchase a prancing horse next though...
