He needs to do it. These are cheap and easy cars to build and have fun with. With a good tune the stock D16 can hold around 200-250whp with no problems. For about a grand ( headstuds, internals, etc...) it can hold 400+ easy.Originally Posted by EM1toEVO

x2 on that. I built a hmt kit for my crx si when I was 16. I spent around 700 dollars for everything. It ran great even with 214k+ miles on the car. I thank EvilGoat for the inspiration.
