    Default F*CK MY 3RD GEN

    So I have hated this car since the day I got it. It's been one problem after another. A couple of months ago I got almost all the issues with my car sorted out and started to actually like the car. Lately I had noticed a vibration coming from the steering as the revs wind down. Didn't think much of it. Today I'm rolling through my neighborhood go around a corner doing aproximately 10-15mph when out of nowhere i lose all steering and all i hear is tire squeal. I get out and see what you see below. I have no explination for you guys as to what happened. All I know is where the strut goes into the lower control arm snapped. Scared the shit out of me. The car is now sitting at the dealership awaiting an estimate.

    Did your Ball Joint fail? I know the 2g's had a recall on that shit. But damn...

    What other damage did it do?

    Nope. If you look in the picture you can see where the bottom of the strut goes into the control arm just looks like somebody cut it and peeled it back. Didn't look like any other damadge was done to the car. My big concern was the axle getting ripped out but as far as I could tell it was fine. Won't know for sure what all is fucked until I hear from the shop on Monday. I'm guessing just the strut and the control arm and possibly the axle.
