    If not just a county ordinance, it might be a state law, but i'm pretty sure every state law enforcement car has to be clearly labeled as such for them to pull you over. So, just look for the graphics and you'll be fine.

    Letters 6" or larger that say Police/Sheriff on the side and I think rear is 4". The problem is I can recognize the silhouette of a crown vic way before you could read what's on it with binoculars...
