And this wont happen...
from 2004
The owner was out of town when the son decided to take the car out of a joy ride with his best friend and his best friend's pregnant girlfriend. The son was speeding down the road at 2 or 3 times the posted speed limit when he hit a bump in the road and the car went airborne and smashed into a pole cutting the car into two pieces. All three of the occupants were killed.THREE more young lives have been cut tragically short after another P-plate driver behind the wheel of a high-powered car crashed into a power pole at ridiculous speed. Emile Dousset, 20, may have been going as fast as 200km/h when the Nissan Skyline GT-R hit a slight dip in the road, sending it airborne. The car was ripped in two by the force of the impact, instantly killing pregnant 15-year-old Natasha Schyf, who was riding in the back, and her boyfriend Karl Homer, 33. The shocking accident comes as Transport Minister Carl Scully revealed he had included The Daily Telegraph's demands for strict new laws for P-platers in a discussion paper on young driver safety. The $110,000, souped-up sports car was airborne for about 40m on Chamberlain Rd, Wyoming, on the Central Coast, before it speared into the pole and broke in two at 8.50pm on Monday.my cousin and i were the first person on the scene, it happened 2 doors down. my skyline was about 20 metres away. i was telling people to turn hazards lights on their cars who were trying to drive past and call 000. as i approached the wreck, between the engine of the car and the actual car were 2 men thrown from it, one man had a fence on him, i pulled that off him. i checked both pulses, and got none.. solomn times. i put rugs over the bodies, although people kept pulling them off to have a look, there was the girls hand though a gap in the wreck against the powerpole, clenched in a fist, same, no pulse. nothing anyone could do. fuel was running everywhere, the police came and made the scene safe, and waited about 2 hours for forensic officers to come. i pulled the front bar aside to see if it actually was an R34 and the plates said it all, EVLR34... there was skid marks before the crash and then (if anyone knows chamberland road in Wyoming, Australia) there is a big dip in the road, where they think he got airborn and crossed the road and into the pole.. no-one touching much and no-one talking much. i went home to sydney at about 11, so i dont know what happened after that. condolences to the family and friends. not a pretty site. TOM.
