05-17-2009 Autocross pics

I took a few pics during the Morning session run group 1. I was busy with stuff for most of the event but managed to get these. This makes the 2nd time I've used my L series lens, and I'm still loving it. I did horrible this time around in terms of times, and spun out on 3 of my 4 runs ( rain) This was also my cousin's first autocross so if there are lots of pics of the Mustang, that's why, the pics of the EVO are so numerous just because that guy was flying! The pics are to show off the angles he was pitching that car (if you make an EVO roll to the side, you KNOW you're driving HARD). Anyways enough jabber. Pics:

I think so.

Oh and kpowerhatch: since you say the pics are ok, is there anything you can give constructively that I can improve on next time? I am always trying to get better and better pictures. My goal this time was to utilize panning to convey motion, so that was my main focus.

That's my cousin's mustang. It's really sweet for a V6 really. Those are true duals w/ an X pipe. The only other engine mods he has is a reflash ecu and K&N intake however he also has Maximum Motorsports camber caster plates, tokiko blue struts, steeda springs, a cobra clutch, bullet brakes, bullet wheels with 245s all around. The V6 has better weight distribution so his stang with all the suspension mods can handle really well. He did better than me. His fastest time was a 64 second plus a cone, and a 65 something clean run. My fastest was a 66.9 the fastest time of the day was 52-ish seconds. He didn't do bad at all for his first autocross, and it's really nice for a V6.

And to give you an idea, I ran a 60.1xx, in the rain during the 1st afternoon run group, on slicks. So running mid-60's in the wet isn't bad at all!! Glad to see more people coming out and having fun.

I would've come had I not forgotten about it when I RSVPed for that other Lotus/BMW meet...

This job search is retarded. I'd still be willing to work at Chik fil a if there are any openings- even with the drive.

Darryl is trying to get his sister to work there, so I think she's gonna fill any empty spaces unfortunately man. However I just broke up with JEssie and have a HUGE crush on Darryl's sister so that'll be nice. Good luck with the job man, if it comes down to it, I'll buy your poor ass a tank of gas and we'll suches it up

Lol, I hope it doesn't come down to that! I know you already pay enough for fuel... I've applied to just about everywhere in Forsyth County for temporary employment since I'll be living in Marietta soon again, and I've had 1 interview- which got me nowhere...

Well first let me save up for my rack and pinion steering conversion (which adds 36 points of adjustment to the front suspension by the way

)and then when I rebuild up a bit of money we'll go to suches even if I do have to buy you gas. So not only will my car's steering rock, with a good performance-based alignment @ GTE I'll be grippy as shit.
