Was your car originally a Hondamatic, or was it a manual from the factory? If it was a Hondamatic, what did you do with the Neutral safety switch? The right way to do it is to unplug both connectors from the neutral safety switch and plug them into each other.

Before I found that out I just left the switch in, slid it to the "neutral" position and hid it under the carpet. It would wiggle out of "neutral" sometimes and the car wouldn't start untill I put it back.
