the new owner also works at a body shop so fixing that little tiny ass dent should be no problem

it may or may not be as fast/faster, but the materials and luxury of even a base model (e36 318) is just better.
not to mention the prestige of a tuned BMW over everybody and their brother's honda... even people not in the scene, like your grandpa or neighbor think BMW > honda.
dont get me wrong, i can get down with an ITR, i can respect honda engineering, nothing against it. but honda (acura) ITR to bimmer 3 is nothing LESS than a sideways move.

the 2 cars (itr/bmw) are in a completely different league, i dont think a comparison can be made only because of the itr's rarity factor and and the look of the car
i do miss vtec but the torque is fun to play with...^.^
but overall, the bm's ride quality is unmatchable

I don't know how his ITR ran but I have drove some ITR's before and I have also driven numerous of E36's and I think the ITR is a much better car then the E36. I like the corners and stuff, and that's just what the ITR was built for. That E36 sure wasn't built for that. And I'm only speaking for that trim. This opinion has NOTHING to do with E36 M3's.
I think it's a downgrade but everyone will have their opinions.
