Dammit what are they doing here? I think Subaru's going through the worst styling reinvention since BMW.

The Legacy was my favorite Subaru because it had a really nice understated yet aggressive style. It was like a grown up WRX. Now it looks too tall and skinny...very awkwardly proportioned, and someone tell me why every company is putting these tail-lights that don't line up? They did it on the BMW 7-series, the BMW 3-series coupe, and the new SAAB 9-5. I don't see how anyone could think it looks good. It's such a small detail but it makes the car look "unfinished."

All in all, I guess it's all a move to appeal to a wider audience...unfortunately, this means diluting the company's character. It takes away what I enjoy about Subaru.
