yeah but thats a lexus cover isnt it? its in the engine bay. its visible, and it has a graphic on it.

This is a metal cover, thats the BACKSIDE of the ecu (meaning the part that faces DOWN) thats just painted a color. I mean i dont get it. I wouldnt have wasted the $5 or the 10 min it took to do it.

And dude its a chipped p28 i have 30 of them in my garage lol. ITs not really a MOD. ANd anyone that gets their car tuned and leaves it visible is a jackass. The only reason i ever had one that was visible is because i had zero interior , and i ran open header, and the vibration would make the chip pop out so i had to be able to slap it back in.

man, i hate these trends! Come on evan you are smarter than this hehe

I never claimed for it to be something special. I claimed $75 for it was a good price.

Will it not be easier to leave it in the floorboard for datalogging/putting chips in? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I have to connect the ECU to my computer via a cable for logging and tuning...

Leave the cable behind the kick panel and just pull it out and plug in into you computer... But if you have a stock engine why worry about any of this? JW?

I kinda assume a GReddy turbo will last longer than a month on 7 psi...

    well first

    Do you have

    A wideband
    License for the tuning software
    ROm Burner
    Datalogging cable
    Emulator/Romulator
    OSterich
The ability to tune a car

If yes, then sure you can have it visible, but its still the WRONG SIDE OF THE ECU. YOu tune from the TOP side, not the bottom, so the color you will never see anyways. So again, whats the point.

And, no, when you tune a car, you are done, you dont sit there an tune it every 5 min because you think its JDM TYTE!

Nah man, thats pretty fucking pointless in all honesty lol

I have all that, except the wideband... which is one reason it's not on the car yet. I'm using crome since it's free though.

The top and bottom are painted... mainly because I wanted to. You know, the same reason most of us do what we do.

You're telling me there's no fine tuning to get the AFR/timing perfect? I want to see this one pull, tune, and be perfect wonder.
