is it cool to paint your head gasket?
Only if it's body matched.

If this is serious, then this is RETARDED, Evan, put the crack down, back up, and walk away slowly, with any luck a mod will delete this thread and we will forget this ever happened.

yeah but thats a lexus cover isnt it? its in the engine bay. its visible, and it has a graphic on it.
This is a metal cover, thats the BACKSIDE of the ecu (meaning the part that faces DOWN) thats just painted a color. I mean i dont get it. I wouldnt have wasted the $5 or the 10 min it took to do it.
And dude its a chipped p28 i have 30 of them in my garage lol. ITs not really a MOD. ANd anyone that gets their car tuned and leaves it visible is a jackass. The only reason i ever had one that was visible is because i had zero interior , and i ran open header, and the vibration would make the chip pop out so i had to be able to slap it back in.
man, i hate these trends! Come on evan you are smarter than this hehe

Leave the cable behind the kick panel and just pull it out and plug in into you computer... But if you have a stock engine why worry about any of this? JW?Quote:

If yes, then sure you can have it visible, but its still the WRONG SIDE OF THE ECU. YOu tune from the TOP side, not the bottom, so the color you will never see anyways. So again, whats the point.
And, no, when you tune a car, you are done, you dont sit there an tune it every 5 min because you think its JDM TYTE!
Nah man, thats pretty fucking pointless in all honesty lol
This is where I grin, slowly scroll up and hit the back button never to return...
looks like 200whp on a good day, and a blown turbo in a month lolQuote:

You're telling me there's no fine tuning to get the AFR/timing perfect? I want to see this one pull, tune, and be perfect wonder.

there is a thread on honda tech with a lot of these. you cut the shape of the ecu on the panel and bolt it to it
Or cut a penis out of the cover and put LEDs inside.Quote:

But some fads are ok, there are trends, there are movements. But this latest craze IMO is worthless.
I sell a PRODUCT that makes me MONEY and makes people POWER, something you can get a direct return from.
Most of the stuff i listed makes the car look like shit, handle like shit, and doesnt do anything for performance.
ANd dont even THINK about saying "performance isnt everything" cause i will make you look stupid if you say that lol.
COme up with something better, unless you would rather just "run me in the twisties"
/sarcasm
You're telling me there's no performance gain for very lightweight $3000 wheels?Quote:
