    owner operators dont usually have governor

    is it automatic? my buddys volvo is auto. i didnt know they made them in anything other than manual

    my dad has always drove trucks but i dont think he has ever had a volvo. QD do you know what SWIFT stands for lol..............

    We tow the race cars in a private Freightliner with a caterpillar and a 10 speed and it has NO governor. We've been about 105mph in it quite easily, but again this a "todder home" and the load is only 3 2500lb race cars and and the neccessary stuff for the track day.
    I'd assume commercial trucks that drivers don't own all have limiters.

    I get 8-9 mpg with 40,000# with a cat 400, Allison tranny and cruise set @ 80+.

    When I have the trailer loaded I get 7-8.
