Got to say one of the cleanest S13's Ive seen.

Life begins at 6000 RPMS.. You will notice an audible change in engine noise, large increase in acceleration and any female passengers will immidiately start to remove their clothing.

I appreciate all the comments, and I know that most people either love the Sileighty configuration, or they absolutely DESPISE it. It's been a damn roller coaster ride getting this thing to where it is today, but I've enjoyed it all. Well, except for when I blew up the motor. Once I'm done with the current stuff, the motor build comes next. Probably gonna be 3 years until that's done since school is at the top of my priority list, hahaha.

Brian, don't be hatin' on Skeet Brown!

Oh, and the girl won't be staying on there once it's on the road again.

I almost forgot some of my other 'bad luck' that I've had. Failed hood latch. I drove home all the way down I-75 doing about 80mph, then went to the parts store, and this happened while driving around 30 mph on my way home.

Hahaha, my inner redneck occasionally comes out and I might lay down some drag. I have more fun doing burnouts in front of my friend's house than going sideways around a turn.

I dunno, I've never been to a drift event aside from D1 and Formula D, and I wouldn't say that I do it on the street either. I enjoy watching it and I can certainly respect the guys that are good at it. I've thought about getting out there and trying it, but I just don't think it's for me. Who knows what the future may hold, haha.

    Gorgeous hachi, btw.

Well, I didn't get a whole lot of 'in work' pics, but I might have enough to make it work. To be truthful, if you have one shred of self-doubt when it comes to taking a grinder and cutting into your hood, then I suggest that you let a professional do it. I had prior experience making aircraft structures, and this got frustrating at times because they had ridiculously close tolerances.

The 6 holes that hold the locking assembly are MAYBE 3/8" away from the cutout for the assembly. On a metal hood that is a little more resistant to cracking, that is bearable, but on a carbon hood, it's difficult to keep it from cracking out when you drill the holes.

Haha, only three of them are good right now. I'm still trying to get the driver's front taken care of. I'm probably gonna roll on a cheap replacement until I get the fronts serviced.

Bumping this up since there's no need to create a new thread...

    Old:

    Revised:

Interiorcrocodilealligator is almost done, just waiting on the harness bar to show up...

New (to me) steering wheel as well, taken from an R32...

And I reverted back to the old, cheapo fiberglass grille shell. Sold the OEM unit, haha.

I dunno. We were both moving at a similar pace for awhile, but you suddenly took leaps and bounds to get closer.

Glad the rears are doing ok! (you got them from me if you don't remember). Car looks great man, I miss my ca18. After I sold mine the new owner dyno'ed it and it turns out it was putting down 257rwhp that whole time that I owned it, basically stock engine with bolt ons and the norris design turbo at 15 psi.

Trust me, I ain't forgotten. Not bad numbers, either. The turbo and fuel setup I have should be good for around high 200's, but I don't know what all the bottom end contains.

How have things been going for ya?

Still a clean 240 man. I love it. Though I bet if you drifted it, you wouldn't have had helf the bad luck. Them 240s get downright uppity and cranky when you don't ass-kick them once in awhile.

    We shall see...

I sold my meshies, so the only spare wheels I have are my 17x8 and 18x8 Nismos. Tires aint cheap for those sizes like they were for the 16's. I'll probably do at least ONE event this year...I gotta let the Bee*R rev limiter run wild in it's natural environment.

Hahaha, I'm glad to hear that. Don't feel bad though, I normally find the fault with the owner, not the car. That being said...I don't think too highly of most 240 owners, either.
