When a car is lowerd really low, I had to put down blocks of wood to get cars on without scrubing the bumpers on the bed and ground. I would try hooking to the factory tow hooks or the control arms, but i would always run into the probem of my chains wanting to rub aginst the bottom of the bumpers... these tow hooks are a big help when it comes to loading a car to keep from damage.

Wich is why bmw, benz and some other cars have spots to tie in a hook into the bumper....
