No what i am saying instead of rushing head long into Weds afternoon traffic to go to the assisted living facility to pick a 68 y/o male who had a swollen penis for almost a week, I said hey look its an interesting looking porsche let me take a second finish my cigarette and snap a couple pics. Until you do my Job you can shut the fuck up. And if you think you can I invite you to come ride on my bus for a day and I will show you a day in the life. 90% of the calls EMS receives are bullshit and could be handled at you local PCP. And of the 10% that are legitimate emergencies only maybe 2% constitute a life or death event. Think about that next time you drive by a car wreck and don't stop but decide to call 911. It takes less than a second to ask " hey you all alright?" And all that shit you see on TV with us running out the door rarely happens but on that note, No we don't get a Breakfast/lunch/dinner break.
