    Default Just another 240 project... kinda*

    This is my 1973 240z, its in the rough right now but by the middle of this summer it should be done... Hopefully
    It has a rear locking diff out of a 280z in it along with the 5speed tranny out of the 280... The engine I pulled out of it in these pics was the 2.8 out of a 280 but needs to be freshened up, so I got an original 2.4 out of my buddies 240 (he did the 1JZ swap) it has an aftermarket cam and fresh internals* The twin SU carbs are nicely tuned and runs strong~ I have already a carbon fiber hood, rear bumper and taillight panels for it, and hope to have it in the body shop in the next week or so.. I'm thinking about going pearl white on it but am not 100% yet... Anyway, here are a few pictures of the engine swap. More progress pics will be added as the work is done, thanks for looking

    Needs an L28ET at the very least Great start though, I never even got that far with mine before I said 'screw this'...that and I needed a DD so I traded it off.
