    Default 2004 mach 1 mustang

just traded in in my truck for this on tuesday. this is my first rwd car (the truck was rwd but it was auto and 4cyl so who cares) so its a big change. anyhow its a 2004 mach 1 in torch red with dark charcoal leather interior only 46k miles. the only mods on it are a magnaflow exhaust and a hurst shifter. i paid more than i would have liked to for it but after i drove it i had to have it. on the test drive i ran it up to about 130 and it feels so stable and its a blast to drive with traction control turned off..its def not a shitty honda civic! my 4 door 93 dx civic was way faster but it didnt have all the shit this car has! now i know what torque really feels like! on to the pics...feel free to flame or compliment:

I love mach's. That is my 2nd favorite color for that car behind competition orange. I must admit that is a weird looking shifter. Besides that and the "cobra jet" and "highperformance" emblems it looks pretty stock. Im guessing that car was from up north due to what appears to be salt residue on the hood blanket. Clean car Its good to have another mach on the street.

actually thats from when the dealer cleaned under the hood. the car was bought in griffin ga in 2003 then sold to someone in baconton ga in 2005 then traded into the dealer i bought it from in november of 08. its a georgia car....thank god because i have had a northern car before and replacing rusty shit sucks!

about 4 years ago i test drove a blue one and almost bought it. it would have been nice to have, but i have learned so much more since then, and now i think if i got one. i could enjoy it a lot more.

the red looks nice with the black 'shaker'

Nice man, I had a 99 V6 Auto Mustang before my civic, which is ALOT slower than my Si ha, but I plan on my next car being a GT. Nice though,

I'd like to see him run. 9 out of 10 Mach 1 owners do not impress me at the track. I KNOW what those cars are capable of.

Mine cut a 13.2 @ Commerce bone-stock on street tires.

    With weld in's, mid-pipe, intake, intake spacer, shifter, DR's ran a 12.4 @ 114.

First thing first... 4.30 gear. Those cars only make good power from 3,500+, that gear will help you stay there longer. I wish everyday I had put a gear in my car.

thanks for all the compliments guys..and yea that shifter is attention grabbing...i wanna change it but it'll do for now. as for running it at the track im sure i will get around to it. my work schedule sucks so i dont have time for track days anymore. im pretty sure i will let all you guys down on the 1/4 mile time...im used to fwd cars and have had some low 12 sec fwd cars this rwd thing is new to me so im gonna have to learn to drive again but maybe it will come to me pretty easy. hopefully i can get some cash together and start buying mods.

I did the same thing, fwd to rwd, its not as bad as you would expect* Hopefully we can all set a date to run down there sometime.
