He's going to Statesboro because he knows it's a party school and chances are he doesn't plan on making it out with a degree anyhow. So he figures his parents buy him a nice fast car and he can at least make some friends, a potential car club, and a hot piece of ass. Then, he flunks, get's a beer gut, puts his car into a ditch, get's herpes, and works for Wal-Mart for a while.
I've seen it a hundred times.
Seriously, I've had 4 friends go to Statesboro and only 1 actually got a degree. The other 3 left on academic probabtion.

Parents are loaded, e.g. 18yo with a GTR. They probably live a little ways from Statesboro and don't care to go through the trouble of buying real estate for only a couple years. Plus he may be required to live on campus as a freshman. Seems to be the most probable circumstance to me. ...and if that's the case, awesome for him, no jealousy/hatred here.

Wow, I laugh at all the crap in this thread. I went to GSU and its no different than going to another college where kids drive high dollar cars. There was a kid there with a CLK AMG (IIRC), but he was also in school for 7 years, lol. There was another few that i knew that drove M5's, M3's, Z06's, blah blah blah.
There are plenty of kids who enter college with a business already running, and are soley in school to further hone there knowledge. If their parents DID buy them these high dollar cars, so the hell what. Maybe he is smart and took care of business or maybe he is just spoiled. SO the hell what, stop crying. Until you meet him, disengage from his nuts with the negativity.
