Ok I look at it like this. What is the point of him buying a house right now? The housing market is down and looks like its about to take another step backwards. If he buys it and the market doesnt turn around in the next 3 years when he gets out he's stuck with a house that he can't sell or ends up taking a loss on. So fuck it if he's got the money let him buy his big toy. Shit I know I wouldn't buy a house being in college.
