For those who dont know, that car was one of the baddest civic in the USA in its prime time 02-03.. I know times have change yada yada.. but it was a pretty crazy show car.
That car was a big Help marketing wise for importatlanta back in the day..
Of course, by today's standard the style is no longer eye catching.. but back then it was..
Im sure this will turn into a shit thread.. But I thought I would point that out..

Good thing that we all know that when we see it. A URL would've been better.Originally Posted by Julio

Classic. Use to see it at the Sonic meets before it was a widebody.

I 'guess' that is true. Everyone outside of the 'scene' still thought it was ugly in 2002-2003.Originally Posted by Julio

So in 2002 you are seriously going to argue that someone outside of building ridiculous show cars thought that vehicle looked good?
That car is hideous now and was also hideous in 2002. Sorry if that upsets your. I am not insulting the work that went into the car. The end result is well, gross.

I don't argue the opinion of another person because it is just the thought of that one individual. I simply asked how you came to the realization that you're the spokesperson for everyone that saw that car back in its heyday.Originally Posted by DinanM3atl
I'm not insulted at all. It isn't my car. And any and all comments about its appearance is strictly that of one little person. And one little person only. Later, QD.Originally Posted by DinanM3atl
Seriously man. My opinion is probably shared with 95% of this forum right now. I bet in 2002 50% thought it looked like shit and 40% weren't man enough to post it was ugly.
That car would have been laughed off almost every single forum on the net. I don't care WHAT year it was. It was a 'cool' car to a VERY small and SELECT group. If you think that car holds some sort of broad appeal you are kidding yourself.

You're probably right. But don't forget what 95% of this forum drives and thinks looks good. But you're one of them, aren't you?Originally Posted by DinanM3atl
Of course you'd wager on that. That's because that wager could never be finalized because we can't go back in time to find out the outcome.Originally Posted by DinanM3atl

See back than.. the forums didnt mean anything. it was do what you want, and be happy with your own shit. people did what they wanted and didnt care about a forum. You almost sound like you seek approval from the forums.. more than yourself.Originally Posted by DinanM3atl

Dodging what question? The stupid and sarcastic "Who made you the official spokesman" comment? I don't need to reply to that. Your sarcastic comments aren't really all that funny so I don't feel the need to humor you with a reply to them directly.
I guess maybe I can't truly claim that what I am saying is a fact. However in 2002 I bet it was pretty safe to assume that on forums outside of the 'show scene' or dedicated 'import forums' that car would be in the "haha check out this ricer" threads. Hell I may have even participated in one on bimmerforums back in 2002. I guess it was a 'cool' car on this forum.
Look at it. A widebody testarossa kit? With wheels that are 6 inches inside the outer fender. The hood is misaligned. APC was junk when it came out and do they even sell anything anymore? It has a ROOF SCOOP for christ sakes.
Why do you keep asking who I am? You sure do seem very agitated and overly defensive of the car. Was it yours or did you lust over it back in 2002?
On a side note that "JT Customs" definitely was inspired by the JL logo... Just shave a bit off the logo and flip it upside down. Taaa DAAA!!! A JT!

Oh really? A show car is built to win awards normally. You build it to get points from judges... Thus caring what other people thinkOriginally Posted by JITB
