    I'm not sure, I don't own a 12A haha. I think it's just easier to keep the stock airbox cause it's easier to keep the stock Nikki 4 barrel carb.

    I did a little research for ya man. Most people don't want to have to shell out the cash for, jet and tune a 2 barrel Webber or Dellorto for the 12A or buy a Holley and set up the mechanical secondaries as well as tune when the Nikki has been proven to give considerable mods from an Rx-7club member everyone calls Sterling. You can ship the stock Nikki to him and have him perform them, or follow his write-up .These carbs have gotten the code name "Sterling Nikkis" and they bolt right up to the stock filter housing and filter.
