lol all the haters on ksport. ksport and D2 brakes are mde by APracing last time i checkd
Wheels look like teh dookie.....
Has anyone else notice that the Konig line of wheels has taken a massive sh!t in the past 3-4 years? They used to make some pretty cool stuff...before Rota was making the knock offs...Konig has some good ones... Temper-r, SubZero (yes, before the Rotas), Burner, Imagine, Caffene, MP3..... back in the day shit right there. But my God their new line of wheels suck ass.
02' Miata
Nice Z. Love the license plate.
i think it looks nice.. not a fan of the wheels.. but the car overall looks good..
are those the bumper parking lights form like the Z concept?
The rim/tire combo kills the stance..
Even if they are 18", he should have went with a 30/25 series combination for his staggered fitment, and dropped the car at least ~1" lower.
It's like "Man! Nice car!..Looks clean....but WTF is with the cheapo rims??"
When I think KONIG, I think Autozone/Pep Boys... Sorry.
350Z's deserve rims like Volk, Works, etc...
He's Gonna get some nice wheels Soon.... Damn yall hatin hard today.

Looks good, but dont the Z's come with brembos stock?
The Ksport coilovers are where that nickname started from...for the same money you could go with Megan or Tein Basics.Originally Posted by csmiths98AV6
Would rather have a ride on rails smooth and controlled, not rough and bumpy like a go cart.
Their stuff is also known not to last as long as other coilover companies out there. But in that instance there were a few people out there who have had a great experience with em, and at the same time many more who haven't.
I've owned D2's which were supposed to be a step up from Ksports, quality was not the best and that's the least I could tell you. I got rid of the D2 setup within 3 months.
Ksport and D2 are the same company, and if their craftsmanship on coilovers is the same as their brakes I wouldn't trust my life with them.
Anyone can say what they want as everyone has an opinion, but just sharing my...

i happen to like the car a lot. i just wish the wheels were 20" and a tad more aggressive on the fitment.
The color is fantastic!!! he just needs to work on the fitment. or lower it with those 18s on
i have no knowledge about KSport parts so i cant give an opinion on the calipers.
He is Planning on getting Volks here soon.
Same here. I don't see why people are hating on this car so harshly, its nice.Originally Posted by Dirty Octopus™

I like it. The interior is sweet. I would have gone with a slightly more aggressive wheel fitment but thats a matter of preference.![]()
I say if he's looking into volks get some deep dish TE37s! That would rock. Hard.
And I love how people post just to say "Oh its so fucking ugly." Give me a break. This Z is more tasteful and nicer than 1/2 the cars on this board. Psh.

When did I say it was top shelf???
For the around the same amount of cash AS Ksports you can get Megans or Tein *Basics*, is what I said for that range!
Ksports = $700-1000
Megans = ~$800-1000
Tein Basics = ~$800-1200
See the connection there?
Now shit if you want top shelf, maybe something like
JIC-FLTA2
Endless
Ohlins
Stance
ect...anything other than Krapsports
Anyway to the OP the car looks good, and the details are nice. Just a few things here and there if you swapped em out would make it really nice.
You're welcome to the G&Z Meet, on Feb 15th I believe.![]()

Ok and what exactly is your point?Originally Posted by The BUCKY
You do know they could contract out a cheaper/inferior product. What do they care? It says KSport on them? Different materials, different assembly line or maybe different parts?
You won't find a company that will go we sell our kits for 2300+ but let's let this 'brand x' sell the same thing for 1500?

Just some friendly info:Originally Posted by JessAlba452
1. Ksports don't really manufactured or "engineered" their products. Same goes for Megan, and many other well known companies themselves. They're all just "exterior" cover and rebadge from OEM companies.
2. Stance really do not belong to the "high end list". Same "kind" as Ksports, Megan.
I see your points completely. However, if the kit didn't fail on OP, it must be decent. Just because one of their product isn't as good, it doesn't mean that all other products are as bad also. Like I mentioned, Ksports don't engineer any of of their products, so whoever engineered the BBK may make it the best bang for the bucks. If it's like Bucky said, same engineer as AP racing, then it's definitely one of the best kit out there. I ran AP Racing, and I love it.![]()
Ohlins doesn't belong on that list either.

I was thinking that about the Stance when I was posting up, and totally agree with your points.
Listed in order from good to lower quality.
That's why I said some people have had good experiences, but many more with worse. There's a 56 page thread if anyone would like the link. But if it works out for the OP then it's all good!Just letting them know from my own experience with their products, and that way they are prepared for any problems they may encounter due to quality.
