    Work looks good, but it does seem like purple engine bay are becoming the latest trend for DAs. But judging how gen2freak car used to look, it's going to still be a standout in this area.

    So whats up with the new trend of painting engine bays diff color than the car??????? One person does it to a honda, and now every other honda has it. Doesnt look bad tho

    I liked your car when I saw it like 3+ years ago mostly stock with a few cool JDM parts and a nice drop. The last time I saw it, it looked like it had been raped. It will take a lot to pull off that purple bay. Looks like you have a lot of work ahead. I can't wait to see the end result.

    Oh, there was more than one black one? That might explain it. Which one is this? Is this the original one or what? I mostly remember the first one that I had seen several times a good while back (3-4 yrs ago) and it was mint inside and out. Then the last one that I saw did not look all that great at all. The engine bay was all dirty and missing random stuff like the windshield wipers and it had a B16 w/ a Bisimoto header... but it was far from impressive. If it was the original one, it had gone wayyy downhill. I don't mean to be mean or anything, I'm just saying that I hope that it's not just more of the same with purple paint. If you've got an empty engine bay, then you obviously still have a bit of work to do to get it back on the road - that's all I was saying about having some work ahead. Good luck on the project!

    well yeah my main DA did have a b16 with a RMF race header!
    and yeah i didnt have wipers or wiper motor and pretty much had a full wire tuck, so i guess if you consider that down hill, then i guess we live in different worlds!
    and yeah obviously i had to take the motor out to build it, and then i decided to paint the engine bay!
    but yeah my interior is 10 out 10, i want you to find me 1 DA lets just say here in the TL with a cleaner interior than mine!
    and my body is pretty close to really good condition considering it hasnt been repainted!
    but anyways yeah you will see when its done, i mean people can hate it(not to be cocky but i never had a single person dislike my car)
    or people can love it, i build my cars to my liking!

    and the black DA I bought that he is referring to was freakin mint, maybe two dings and shiny black paint with clean interior. All stock but very clean.
