    I know where a 79 Trans Am is, good shape, cant remember what engine it is right off but I know its a V8 is for $6,000.

    My uncle had one of those in cleveland,he said he put a automatic in with a stall and let them manual guys miss gears on him. @ old school language he used when he told me about it.

    tehehe. i'm around those all day watched em build the yearone t/a from the ground up. we still have like 3-4 junk t/a's laying around and like 4-5 half cut frames with motors haha. i'd be glad to give you a tour one saturday. i think we've still got a few of our bandits and an old one i believe.

    after looking i found a few with under 100K original miles for under 12K, not bad. it would be so awesome to have one of these just for a cruising car. id also want to find somebody with an old cop car that we could chop the roof off and them chase me in it

    I used to have a fully restored 79'. Same paint/decal scheme as above posted. Only problem was the new motor was a 403, a total dog of a engine. I plan to buy another, and be sure to put a 455 in that bitch and rock it until the day I die....I miss mine...
