A photo shoot is generally used in the fashion industry, whereby a model poses for a photographer at a studio where multiple photos are taken to find the best ones for the required brief. A model is not always a person however there are sometimes when a photo shoot of a food for a magazine is done showing characteristics for commercial use.
A few examples are:

*Modelling for a newspaper or magazine article, as well as billboards
*Advertising a company's product, where the product is generally used by the model
*Modelling a new range of fashion designs for a store or designer

Sorry QD but your wrong. This is a photoshoot. I know that you like calling out noobs and ricer but theres a few time that you have pull the "not a photoshoot" card and have been wrong. This being one of them.

1. You have a model (The car).
2. You have a studio (The location)

By the pictures I think we can all agree that this isnt a point and shoot camera and that this wasnt done in 10mins in the front yard.

I'm not wrong. And it has nothing to do with "noobs" or whatever. The OP and I are cool and I was joshing him about it. But I'm not wrong.

Just because you have an SLR and take an hour to shoot doesn't make every picture you take a photoshoot picture. Sorry, man. Later, QD.
