This one is going to stay auto until it fails. I swapped auto to manual in my 540i and it was not fun at all.

I have a 275whp goal on the e30, so it shouldn't be but a few miles before the tranny dies

Other than that, just some low offset wheels and a drop.

    free cars FTW

    good luck with it man
Thanks, I'm really stoked about it. I want to wash is SO BADLY. But I've decided to hold off until I get it running

we built a turbo e30 for a customer about a year ago, at 12psi it made 302whp, stock head, stock cam, stock intake, custom 8:1 pistons, stock shotpeened rods, 2.7 turbo diesel crank (stock forged piece).
he didnt need a build for that power though, he just wanted piece of mind.

if you decide to turbo, and to do it with a kit, do _NOT_ buy a turbo charging dynamics (TCD) kit. overpriced, home brewed kit thats not worth it, and he uses a rising rate fuel pressure regulator for fuel.

btw, 300whp in an e30 is _quite_ the experience
good find, thats a clean car!
