All I have to say is FUCK all the haters. This car is nicely done and the owner is a great person. Her car was built to please her and no one else. It is a SHOW CAR. It has a lot of nice and expensive parts on it. Just because it is not your style doesn't mean you have to bash and jump on the bandwagon. Just because it is not JDM doesn't mean it's not cool. It's not my style but I love the car.

Keep on truckin J. Haven't seen ya in a while we all need to hang out soon.

And that's how she should build it. But when you show your ride to the people, you know you're going to get a ton of different (positive and negative) reactions. If you don't want the negative, don't post it.

I'm sorry. I have to laugh. More so at the "SHOW CAR" part. But putting "nice and expensive" stuff on a car doesn't automatically make it look good.

Again, this goes with the territory of not posting if you don't want the feedback. Later, QD.

    Thanks T2KU

I don't mind constructive criticism... and I know not everyone will like the scheme i picked for the car... but even if you don't like it... there must be something nice that can be said... if all you can do is bash just for the love of hating... then where is the fun in that, other than just being crule... Opinions are like ass holes... everyone has one but not everyone lets them hang out in publiic... You should always find words of encouragement to go along with the bad opinions... because anyone that has the courage to even try do do something to their car deserves atleast one thumbs up even if you don't like it...

You may laugh and bash all you wish... but how many of you travel to shows for charity... and for the kids with cancer... and do good with your cars...???

and how many of you who are bashing have been featured in Honda Tuning and other mags.??? you should appreciate others just like you do yourself...

PLEASE DON'T GO PULLING STUFF OFF MY CARDOMAIN SITE JUST TO BASH ME AGAIN... THERE ARE OTHERS THAT CAN BE HURT BY IT AND NOT JUST ME...

    THANKS
Friends come... and friends go... but Honda brothers and sisters are FOREVER

and if you are doing it all by yourself "LIKE HTE REST OF THE CAR" how did the pain cost 4k? since you did it yourself, supplies wouldnt have been over 1k. even for all that shit on there.

Submitting your car for READERS' RIDES doesn't count. My car is actually going to be in a magazine next month. But not as a feature car.

I said it before, you should do whatever to your car that you want to and not to worry about what others say. But it's going to be said anyway. Later, QD.

Props for building it the way you want to build it. I like the color combo, wing is not my taste but not my car. As for the TT engine with NOS comment, that sounds like a ricer comment made by a F&F fanboy. Do some research and talk to other Sol owners and you will find a combo that is both fast and works.

As for this comment, what would you like to discuss? Started in '91 and showed until 2000. I did shows in Daytona, Myrtle Beach, Panama City, Pigeon Forge, Mobile, Greenville, Savannah, Macon, Columbus, Birmingham, All over Atlanta, Carollton, and other smaller towns doing shows, charity events, putting on events and judging. Did good? Yeah.

I wonder wh................oh I know. This thread is about YOUR car. My car is on here. If you want to see it, look for it. But keep in mind, it's a "restoration" car so it's not going to be hot shit right now.

The way I am? You brought this on yourself by posting your car. I told you what I thought AND that you shouldn't worry about what I, or anyone else, thinks of it. But you do worry and that's why you're trying your "wits" at me. Don't feel sorry for me. Turn all that towards your car. it needs it much more than I do. Later, QD.

You are so right... I don't know you... and maybe you are a nice person and all... but you should not meet people by just attacking them.. I have seen pics of your CVCC and I think it is an awesome car... I do wish you luck with that one as i know that it will be very hard to restore with the lack of parts for it... I know someone with one that is in pretty good shape and they are awesome looking cars...

maybe that all the hate is out... we can actually be friends... :-)

Amd why would you waste time and money to do carbon fiber if you are going to paint it. Just fiberglass the doors and then paint to match the outside. However, if you want points in a "Real Show" then carry the paint theme through the jams and door.

I like to do the unusual... I don't like to do what others have done... The candy paint will allow the carbon fiber to show thru but give it the same color scheme inside... and the paint will be carried thru the jams and doors as well...

    No "maybe" about it.

Thanks and I'd like to get in touch with this person.

There is no hate. And just because I don't like anything about your car doesn't mean we can't be cool. My initial comment was for pure entertainment. I just put my opinions into a humorous state to draw lols. That's how I do on here. But when you tried to promote your car into something more than it really is, I have to put the point to the paper. There's differences in what you say. You show your car. Your car is NOT a show car (like AP Photo said, hit up a REAL car show). You do charity events in your car. Anyone in any car can do charity events. Doesn't have to be a "show" car. And, as I stated before, having your car in the READERS RIDES section or in a random photo is not called "being in a magazine."

I understand how you take offense to someone stating a negative to something you worked on and it's natural (of course). But I never hated on you.

Last words of encouragement (and I thunked this up all by my lonesome). My opinion is only worth as much as you let it be.

    Later, QD.

There is not one thing you can do to a Honda that will be original or unusual. What you've done to yours has been done to thousands upon thousands of Hondas and other cars for the last decade. Later, QD.

That maybe... but it isn't done by everyone or they all would not be so different from each other...

And I never said that she was a professional show car... but she shows just the same and as much as people may not like her... there are lots that do... and that has to say something...:-) And as you can appreciate... there aren't alot of 15 year + honda's on the show circuit... or any for that matter... :-)
Friends come... and friends go... but Honda brothers and sisters are FOREVER
