    Default HONDA CIVIC RS

    this is a honda CIVIC RS i found. It has a 3 stage vtec D15b in it... i want to know where i can get me a motor like this.
    i mean 2 vtec's.... THAT IS CRAZY!!

    he has a picture of the 2 solenoids....apparently not a joke...but 180 km/h is only what 120mph or less

    I'm still not sure what you mean by '2 vtecs'. More than one switchover camshaft lobe setting? That's nothing new, I think the s2000 has like 4 different cam profile settings, doesn't it? Same with RSX-S and the newer Si's, ya?

    I respect this insofar as it's obviously an innovative and difficult engineering feat, but beyond that, in a performance sense, one has to ask 'why bother?'.

    the d15b is an old motor, it came stock with 130hp

    uhh, and why would it be hard, that's just a SOHC ZC right? Didn't nearly all the coupes and sedans come with a D15...just wasn't a ZC?

    There are LOTS of SOHC NA motors that are four cylinder that throw down around that number
