    Default Black Z06 on 360 Forged Mesh-8s.

I think these rims look awesome on a black Z. If I can collect $1 from about 5000 members, I can afford a set of these lol.

    360 Forged
    Front: 20x 9.5 285/25/20
    Rear: 20x12.5 345/25.20
    Brushed Center Disc
    Chrome Lip
    Gloss Black Inner

    Tires: Nitto Invo.

(I did not take these pictures, this is not my car - thought its pretty much the same thing without these awesome wheels)

If I'm not mistaken, they're 1600/piece last I checked. 360F makes great wheels for sure. I was going to get them but went with Vellano instead.

The wheels really do accent the car well. I think they could stand to be a little smaller though.

    Stock is
    18x9.5 275/35/18
    19x12 325/30/19.

If I buy aftermarket - I'd probably stick to similar sizes or do 19/20. 20 is too big up front I think.

Surprisingly the contact patch with 345s is pretty much the same as the 325 due to differences in the sidewall etc (someone measured them on corvetteforum).

However the Traction Control/Active Handling really gets messed up when you change tire sizes even a little bit and strange error messages come up when doing 120+.

They might just be slightly too big, but they're pretty amazing on the car. Hard setup to beat.

Well I was only half serious about buying those.

But these I would definitely buy:

HRE C21. They look like 18/19 (stock size) to me.

that thread was sooo funny...drag guys been doin it forever...when you go with wider tires the contact patch rarely changes or very little unless you widen the rims that they are mounted to....you go from 325 to 345 and add the inch wider rim and the contact patch changes tremendously...of course this is all relative to the widths involved and the tire pressure with sidewall height

oh, and the reason the tc/ah freaks out is b/c this is controlled by speed of the tires measured by the abs....it can be changed but heard it's still a pain when you use hp tuners and stuff....the computer is programmed with exact circumference measuements front and rear and even diff brands arent the same with the same size so it can really wig out....and my car is one of em but it freaks out anyway whenever i push the pedal hard so i just always turn it off

love those 18/19 combos but just wont work for traction so gotta stick with the 18's rear always a sacrifice between power and looks

oh, this is demonstrated the easiest with slicks cause they have a very easily seen tread block....put a 26x10x15 slick on a 15x8 inch rim and then put the same tire on a 15x10...huge diff between contact patch

a 345 is a better tire and will provide larger contact patch but only on a properly sized rim

Good god that M3 is sick!

I've come to believe that its not the wheels doing it - just a nice black car, nice rims along with excellent photography lol. Props to 360 they have some great products.
Oh and they're not any cheaper than HRE btw lol

NeverNufTorque: Yea I agree with your posts. I think 19/20 is the absolute largest size I'm willing to go but again the tire selection problem is a bitch to deal with. Sometimes I just want to throw on a nice set of 18" CCWs all round and just call it a day. At least I wont have to pay 2 arms and 2 legs for tires. (Stock tires are 450 a pop for the rears - 10k miles out of em driving nicely)
