As far as tags go, there is a difference in driving on the streets everyday and outright posting it straight up on a forum where others can directly read it. Your average driver around you in an everyday situation isn't worried about your tag whereas you'd have a much greater chance at someone looking at it, or for it, on a message board with like-minded people. Yes i did. But I was wasn't referring to those. I was referring to the comments about everyday driving. Meets and car shows are kind of like forums and pics. Like-minded people attend these meets and shows.

If someone doesn't want a pic of their tag taken (and if the photographer isn't considerate enough to blur it out in processing), they should either remove it or cover it when they get there (to the event). I know you shouldn't have to, but that's the way society is these days. And I agree that it sucks. The comparison between running into someone interested (with bad intentions) in your car at a meet as opposed to driving down the street is practically non-existent. You can't always count on photographers to do the right thing, so you need to take your own precautions.
